CO-FOUNDER / KIARA KAWAGUCHI ATTENDS THE “BRAZIL BUSINESS FORUM”

Advancing International Engagement to Explore New Collaboration Opportunities with the South American Market
Kiara Kawaguchi attended the “Brazil Business Forum” held in Japan, engaging with representatives of Brazilian companies as well as leaders of the Brazilian community in Japan. The forum was designed to expand points of connection between Japan and the rapidly growing South American market, and provided a meaningful opportunity to deepen potential cooperation across energy, resources, education, and technology.
Latest South American Business Trends and Expectations Toward Japanese Companies
Through the sessions and discussions, we gained insights into Brazil’s economic structure, growth industries, and policy directions—reaffirming the scale of opportunity within the South American market. In particular, Brazilian stakeholders and community leaders highlighted a wide range of potential collaboration areas, including energy transition, resource development, startup support, and educational partnerships. These themes aligned closely with our integrated focus on Space × AI × Education × Culture.
Engagement with Stakeholders from Global Resource Company SGML
During the forum, we also exchanged views with stakeholders connected to SGML (Sigma Lithium Corp.), a global resource company centered on lithium mining. SGML is listed on NASDAQ / TSXV (Canada) / BVMF (Brazil), and has established a strong presence in the lithium industry—an increasingly strategic sector amid global decarbonization.
The conversation covered Brazil’s resource sector landscape, movements in international capital markets, and perspectives on future global expansion—offering highly valuable implications as we consider our international strategy. We also shared a common view on the importance of next-generation exchange between Japan and Brazil, particularly given the stakeholder’s plan to enter a Japanese university in 2027.
Toward Long-Term Partnerships in South America
Through this forum participation, we achieved meaningful outcomes, including:
Capturing emerging business opportunities in South America
Confirming potential collaboration pathways with Brazilian counterparts
Building networks with international players in resources, environment, and energy
Forming future-oriented relationships through engagement with next-generation leaders
Brazil, in particular, holds substantial potential for cooperation with Japan across space, resources, and education, reinforcing the long-term value of building sustained partnerships.
Outlook
Going forward, Bedrock Space will actively promote collaboration with global markets, including South America, advancing our integrated strategy across Space × AI × Education × Culture within an international context.
We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who made this opportunity possible, and will continue expanding our global network by applying the insights gained through our engagement with Brazil.
